    The delay varies between 4 to 6 weeks.

    This is an assessment test allowing the admission committee to complete the assessment of your diploma and training equivalence file.

    Depending on the results obtained, the Exercise Admission Committee is able to decide on the level of optometry skills and knowledge of the exercise candidates and to determine if you qualify for the Refresher Training Program. or not.

    If you are eligible for the training program, TECCO results will recommend which topics you should be upgrading to.

    No, the TECCO is only available in French as is the refresher training program.

    You must first complete the application process for recognition of diploma and training equivalence with the Ordre des optométristes du Québec.

    Following the study of your application, you will be notified if the TECCO is necessary to the appreciation of your file and the instructions concerning the registration will be sent to you.

    Following the study of your request, if the admissions committee deems the relevance (recommendation of partial equivalence of training), you will be advised of the training to be completed and applicable procedures.

    It does not usually exceed 2 to 3 years.

    The cost varies according to the duration and number of university credits to be achieved.
